Requirements for your first jump in Utti (experienced skydivers)

ID / passport
Valid skydiving license
Proof of third party liability insurance valid in Finland and up to 1 000 000 €/$. If you do not have one, you can get it from Finnish Aeronautical Association.
Gear documents
Logbook
Skydive Finland membership fee (70€, can be paid at the manifest)
Filled out and signed medical declaration (available at the manifest). If you need doctor certificate, bring the instructions with you. You can find it here
Filled out and signed waiver (available at the manifest)
Reading and acknowledging of our dropzone rules (available at the manifest)

Safety

Skydiving is considered an extreme sport due to the risk involved. Despite the perception of danger, fatalities are rare and the most common accidents are ankle injuries.

Skydivers are required to carry two parachutes. The reserve parachute is periodically inspected and re-packed (whether used or not) by a certified parachute rigger. The reserve parachute also includes an AAD (automatic activation device) which opens the reserve parachute at a predetermined altitude in case of emergency.
